What I found while frolicking

Yesterday, I frolicked. I wanted to try a deli two friends promised I’d love even though they’d never been there. I found an apothecary with Michael Pollan’s latest book and a teaspoon of honey that had me floating for two hours. I didn’t find a matcha latte, but I helped a friend find a brooch and another friend find a jacket. I did find a message on a photo slightly hidden behind a plant and I immediately wanted to share with y’all who also need it. Maybe for you or for the right words to say to that person who needs you right now.

“Whatever’s going on, can I hold your hand through it?”
